Sash windows, marble fireplaces and a mahogany staircase that creaks where it should. We've lived here, restored here, raised our children here and shared it with couples since 2014. What you get is a Grade II-listed Georgian manor that still feels like the family home it is.
Outside, the formal lawns drop to an apple orchard and a walled courtyard, which is beautifully framed by the Wye Valley on the horizon. The cedar by the driveway was planted around 1520, making it one of the oldest in Europe!

Marry inside, beneath a coffered ceiling and arched garden views, or outdoors on the lawn beneath our majestic cedar. Both spaces are licensed, plus, there are a few churches a mile or two away.

A long banquet for eighty, intimate rounds for sixty. No matter your style, vision or guest list, the three reception rooms flow perfectly into one another.

Up to 130 join you for the evening. The Courtyard Bar opens, and the fires are lit. There's no curfew here, so you have the house until the following morning, where you’ll share breakfast.
Standing proudly by the driveway, you can't miss it: one of the oldest Cedar of Lebanon trees in Europe. Planted in 1520, it's impossible to miss, and never fails to impress. Most of our couples who marry outside say their vows in its shade.
